Beneficiaries of the Bienestar scholarship programs in Mexico.

On April 13, the Mexican government began distributing double payments to beneficiaries of the Benito Juárez, Gertrudis Bocanegra, and Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro scholarship programs. This payment schedule will remain in effect until April 24, 2026.

In an official statement, the Welfare Programs agency confirmed that these funds cover the January-February and March-April bimonthly periods. This measure aims to settle outstanding balances for enrolled students who had not yet received their support due to delays in previous months.

Deposit amounts vary depending on the student's specific educational program. Beneficiaries of the Benito Juárez and Gertrudis Bocanegra scholarships will receive a total of 3,800 pesos in their accounts.

Meanwhile, participants in the Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro program will receive a deposit of 11,600 pesos. This figure represents the combined total of the two outstanding bimonthly periods.

Alphabetical Distribution

The distribution of funds will take place gradually. The payment schedule follows an alphabetical order based on the first letter of the beneficiaries' last names.

Recipients should consult the agency's official calendar to find their exact deposit date. The fund distribution process is scheduled to conclude on April 24.

Authorities reminded recipients that it is not necessary to withdraw the money on the same day the deposit is made. Banco del Bienestar cards allow users to keep the balance in their accounts for later use.

This financial tool operates just like any standard debit card. Beneficiaries can make purchases or withdrawals as needed without losing access to their accumulated funds.
