Alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) were captured on video celebrating at a ranch in San José de Gracia, Aguascalientes. The individuals were seen brandishing high-powered firearms during the event.

According to reports circulating on social media, the gathering took place on a property owned by Vicente Ventura Anaya, a local councilman representing the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

Alleged political ties

The footage, which is circulating on digital platforms, shows the individuals "armed to the teeth" during what appears to be a private celebration. The release of the material has led to direct allegations against Councilman Ventura Anaya's administration.

Users on the social media platform X have called on federal and state authorities, including the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, to intervene in the case. The reports suggest a possible link between the local official and the criminal groups seen in the video.

As of now, neither the Aguascalientes State Attorney General's Office nor the municipal administration of San José de Gracia has issued an official statement regarding the accuracy of the reports or the identity of the individuals featured in the footage.
