190 Venezuelan nationals arrived at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía on Monday, following a deportation flight from Phoenix, Arizona. The group, which includes 162 adults and 28 minors, was received by Venezuelan authorities upon landing in the state of La Guaira.
The flight marks the 132nd operation conducted under the Venezuelan government's "Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria" program. The state-run program celebrated the arrival of the passengers on social media, labeling the group as "190 stories that begin again with Venezuelan love."
The adult passengers include 136 men and 26 women. The group also contains 28 children, whom the state program described as "sons and daughters of this beautiful country."
Reintegration efforts
According to the Venezuelan television network VTV, the flight originated in the United States. Upon arrival, migration and social protection authorities accompanied the minors and their legal representatives.
These officials are currently managing the administrative processes required for the passengers' stability and reinsertion into national territory. The "Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria" stated its ongoing commitment to "the union of Venezuelan families."
