Production company Street Machine has confirmed that "La Gran Rueda" (The Great Wheel) will extend its season in Concepción, remaining at the Bicentenario Park site until Sunday, May 3.
The 33-meter-tall Ferris wheel, brought in from the Netherlands, offers panoramic views that include the Biobío River. The mechanical giant features 24 gondolas, each capable of holding six people, and includes a specially adapted cabin for wheelchair users.
Hours and Ticket Prices
Organizers noted that operating hours vary depending on the day of the week. On Mondays, the wheel is open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while from Tuesday to Thursday, service begins at 12:00 PM.
Weekend hours are more extensive, running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM across two time slots. On Fridays, there are three different time slots covering everything from midday through the evening.
Tickets are available on the PuntoTicket platform, with prices varying based on the time of day and ticket type. Rates for children and seniors range between $4,000 and $5,000 pesos, depending on the session.
General admission prices range from $4,000 to $6,000 pesos. For those looking for more privacy, booking an entire six-person gondola costs between $15,000 and $21,000 pesos.
Children under 80 centimeters tall enter for free, while those under 1.30 meters pay the child rate. In all cases, the company requires that minors be accompanied by an adult.
The production company also announced that Entel customers are eligible for a 20% discount on ticket purchases.
