Chilean singer Kidd Voodoo has teamed up with Spanish pop star Pablo Alborán for the release of their new single, 'Dando Vueltas.' The collaboration marks a major milestone for the Maipú-born artist as he prepares for his upcoming studio album, 'Euforia.'
The track serves as a lead single for the upcoming project, though a specific release date for the full album has not yet been announced. The collaboration brings together the urban sounds of the Chilean singer with the romantic pop influence of the Spanish vocalist.
Kidd Voodoo shared his personal connection to the Spanish singer on social media, describing the project as a long-held ambition. He noted that his early musical roots were heavily influenced by Alborán's work.
“It is something super important. If we go back years, I have many old covers and I used to upload songs playing the guitar, and many of those songs were his,” the Chilean artist stated.
A career milestone
The artist admitted that the partnership was an unexpected turn for his current musical direction. Despite the shift in genres, he expressed deep satisfaction with the final result.
“Therefore, recording a track together is a dream come true and perhaps very unexpected given the path I was taking with my career, but this opportunity has arisen and it has me really excited,” he added.
Kidd Voodoo, known for hits such as ‘Confortas pero dañas,’ also praised Alborán's character during the recording process. He described the new composition as beautiful and expressed happiness in working with the Spanish singer.
“This new composition is beautiful and also, I feel very happy to collaborate with a person as nice and special as Pablo,” the singer said.
