The Chilean audiovisual project Sesiones En El Tercero has launched its third season, kicking off with a new series of live music performances. The new installment began publishing sessions this Wednesday, starting with the national band Estoy Bien.
According to an announcement from the project, the new season includes eight sessions recorded throughout 2025. These episodes will be released weekly on the project's official YouTube channel.
New lineup of artists
The third season features a diverse roster of participants, including Cristóbal Avendaño y Silvia Moreno, Candelabro, Cuchitamon, Atalaria, Inundaremos, Phuyu y la Fantasma, and Floresalegría. With this new release, the project's total archive has reached 63 published sessions.
Originally founded in 2018, the project serves as a live recording archive for the Chilean music scene. It was created by Juan Francisco Palomo and Juan Diego Soto, a member of the band Déjenme Dormir.
Soto previously explained that the initiative began during his high school years. He and Palomo started recording sessions for local bands that lacked live performance footage on YouTube.
This season's production was directed by Benjamín González Sáez. The audio engineering was a collaborative effort between Juan Diego Soto, Emanuel Irarrázabal, and Joaquín Fredes.
The production team also includes Jorge Peña, Alejandro Montecinos, Juan Francisco Palomo, Javiera Acevedo, Sebastián Meléndez, and María José Mariscal. The third season received funding from the 2025 call for the Fondo para el Fomento de la Música Nacional.
