Samsung expanded its television lineup in Mexico this week with the release of the M80HAF and M70HAF series. The new models, which range from 43 to 85 inches, utilize MiniLED technology to provide finer control over screen brightness and color precision.
The M80HAF serves as the premium offering in the new collection. It features the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, which the company claims uses 20 neural networks to optimize picture and sound quality in real time. This model supports refresh rates up to 240 Hz through virtual DLG technology, positioning it as a high-end option for gaming and sports enthusiasts.
Advanced AI and sports features
A central feature of the new lineup is the integration of Vision AI Companion. This tool allows users to interact with the television using generative AI, including Microsoft’s Copilot, to search for content or answer questions. Samsung has also included specialized software designed for sports broadcasting, including a dedicated football mode that allows users to adjust audio settings to filter out commentary.
The M70HAF series acts as the entry-level option, offering 4K resolution and refresh rates between 60 Hz and 120 Hz. While it lacks the advanced NQ4 processor of the M80HAF, it maintains core features like Pure Spectrum Color and the Tizen OS interface.
Samsung is positioning these screens as a key hardware play ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The company claims that the MiniLED backlighting provides a more immersive experience by enhancing depth and contrast, particularly in nature documentaries and fast-paced sports.
Pricing for the M70HAF series starts at 11,499 pesos for the 43-inch model and climbs to 32,299 pesos for the 85-inch version. The M80HAF series carries a higher price point, starting at 17,199 pesos for the 55-inch unit and reaching 37,199 pesos for the 85-inch flagship display. Both series are available immediately through Samsung’s official Mexican online store.
