Chinese automaker Leapmotor officially launched the A10 electric SUV this week, marking the debut of the company’s new 'A' vehicle platform. The model, which will be marketed internationally as the B03X, represents a strategic shift toward a globalized product lineup.

Leapmotor aims to reach one million annual sales by 2026. The company views the B03X as a cornerstone of that strategy, with plans to export the vehicle to approximately 40 markets worldwide.

Technology and performance specs

The A10 is built under the company's 'Smart All the Way' design concept. It features a sophisticated ADAS system supported by LiDAR sensors and is powered by dual Qualcomm processors, specifically the 8295 and 8650 chips.

According to company specifications, the vehicle offers a range of up to 505 kilometers based on the CLTC cycle. Its 7-in-1 electric drivetrain utilizes oil cooling to maintain efficiency, achieving a consumption rate of 10.7 kWh per 100 kilometers. The battery system supports fast charging, which the manufacturer states can restore power from 30% to 80% in 16 minutes.

Inside the cabin, the SUV prioritizes modular space, achieving an 88.1% interior space utilization rate. The tech suite includes Huawei HiCar 4.0 compatibility, a 7.1 surround sound system, and integrated karaoke functions. Safety features include 18 active monitoring systems and a high-strength structural frame designed to mitigate thermal risks.

The vehicle dimensions measure 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm.

While the company has not confirmed a release date for the Chilean market, local industry analysts suggest the B03X is a likely candidate for the region. Leapmotor has already established a presence in the country with its C10 and B10 models, and the addition of the B03X would further flesh out their current portfolio.
